The good news is with my batteries fully recharged, after an exhilarating Easter weekend, I've finally knuckled down and taken a couple days of the day job this week to complete and publish the revised edition of Rebels for you all to enjoy.
Not only does it have a completely new cover, new description and updated end matter (about the author, contact links, other books, etc.). I've completely re-edited and proof read it again and again. So hopefully most of the frankly embarrassing typos that slipped through the first edition in my eagerness to publish my first ebook have now been picked up and removed (with no new ones being introduced) .
I'm not going to sit here and claim its perfect (no book ever is), because there's bound to be at least one I've missed. However I've learnt an awful lot about ebook publishing since releasing Rebels on an unsuspecting world on the 12 November 2013 and believe it's now a much better product/experience for it.
The biggest change however is that it now includes a preview of the upcoming sequel Exiles. Which, other commitments permitting, I'm currently finalising for release over the summer/autumn of this year. As well as beginning to think about where I want to take the next installment (Reunions) of the Ark Worlds series which now has its own Facebook page here.
Finally for those who were wondering the original cover of Rebels was a photo of a snow covered High Cup Nick in the English Pennines I took on another walking trip in Easter 2013.
