The first revision of Exiles is now complete, as is the prologue and first chapter of the third instalment Reunions, which will be included in Exiles at launch. There's still a quite a bit of work to do, but Exiles is shaping up nicely for a summer launch. So as our friends in the press say 'Watch this space.'
Also my ambitious plans for last weekend didn't quite pan out as intended. Yes, we managed to get up and down Snowdon in just under four hours something we'll need to do for the UK's National Three Peaks Challenge at the end of July, but I'm afraid to say I didn't make it back in time to meet up with my old school friends. The temptation of the many fine hostelries that dot the Welsh countryside was just too much!
On a slightly more serious note it was a truly humbling experience to see a blind guy coming down the Pyg Track the roughest of Snowdon's 'footpaths' and a guy in an adapted wheel chair coming up the Llanberis path. If they can do Snowdon then there really is no excuse for me not completing the Three Peaks.
Finally with tomorrow promising to be a cracking day weather wise I'll be hitting the hills again and looking for some epic highs away from the Bank Holiday crowds to recharge my batteries and provide some inspiration.
Have a great Easter Break everyone.
