Being reunited with old school friends via Facebook, finding out what people have been up to, reliving old memories and spending way too much time reminiscing about how things were so much better back then. My rose tinted spectacles got so misty I could barely type at times.
Rebels my debut novel continues to attract regular downloads and has now topped the 700 mark at Smashwords alone and continues to exceed my humble expectations for it when I published it back in November 2013. Many thanks to you all.
The first draft of its sequel Exiles is finally nearing completion. I’m hoping to pen the epilogue this weekend and it’s going to be close to twice the length of Rebels at around 95 to 100k words. Unfortunately I can’t commit to a publication date just yet as there is still going to be quite a lengthy process of revisions, editing, and proof reading to go through.
Then tomorrow I’m off on my first serious training walk of the year for the National Three Peaks Challenge in July in what promised to be a mini-heat wave with temperatures at twice the average for the time of year. The Robins that have begun nesting on the back of my house clearly think the spring is already here.
Have a great week everyone.
